Visitor centre of the Pas de Peyrol Pass
Description
In the heart of the protected natural site of the Cantal Mountains, this Visitor Centre (built in 2006) introduces the visitor to the great volcano: its creation, its transformations and its present-day appearance. Audiovisual exhibition.
From this Visitor Centre a path is laid out and gives you access to the orientation table at the peak of the Puy Mary. From there you can discover the extraordinary panoramic view and listen to the history of the volcano told by an animator of the Grand Site.
Museum with an audiovisual exhibition (free entrance) - shop - public convenience.
