Saint-Pantaléon church

Description

The 12th c. church, dedicated to St. Pantaleon, used to belong to the Abbey of La Chaise-Dieu.

The church is noted for its bell cote steeple, a 13th c. wooden statue and a reliquary. There is also a very interesting sculpture of the moon and the sun on the western door. They refer to cosmic symbolism.
