Puy Bouval

The Puy Bouval with an altitude of 733m is the highest point in the hamlet of Bouval situated in the village of Barriac-les-Bosquets. You can reach it during a walk named the “Puy Bouval” (2h45 – 11km). A panorama table made in lava will help you to find your way about: the Pleaux plateau, the Cantal mountains, the Sancy mountains and the Limousin region. At the top, there is a statue in bronze of the abbot François Filiol, a martyred priest during the French Revolution.
