Along the anglers’ path, using a handrail, you will able to cross from bank to bank thanks to a wooden footbridge or an arc shaped bridge. A floating pontoon will make you circumvent the rock… You will eventually ascent 30m (98ft.) up to a cornice and you will cross the glacial rock bar. You will contemplate the “chaos”: the wildest part of the Gorges. Here, rocks are scattered over riverbed. Your eyes will be witnesses of this unique scene of nature!

Lissart de Miège campsite

The Lissart de Miège campsite is situated in Le Fau, at an altitude of 939 metres, in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Cantal county. You are welcomed in the Regional Country Park of the Auvergne volcanoes, in the heart of the Puy Mary Great National Site. 12 pitches only for tents on a 1ha area for 20 people /day. Facilities: toilet block, freezer and fridge. 6km from shops. Stop-over accomodation in the GR400 trail (great hiking trail across the Cantal mountains), other hiking trail departures from the campsite.

Campsite situated in a valley, on the riverside. Pitches on a flat ground, on a partly shaded meadow. Bathroom : showers, toilets. The campsite is quiet, vast with a view of the mountains.
