The village of St-Vincent-de-Salers is built at the foot of a rocky escarpment overlooking the glacial valley of the river Mars. A picturesque village with some very old houses and a 12th-century church that has been refurbished on a number of occasions. Close to the church is the Château de la Borie (15th century).
