Tourniac
The commune has a population of 128, divided between the main village and a number of hamlets. The church, dedicated to Saint Victor, dates from the Romanesque period. It has a beautiful white marble altar. At the far end of the cemetery is a stone cross dating from the 12th or 13th century, "probably the most interesting and oldest in the Cantal" (Pierre Moulier). From Tourniac, a picturesque little road leads down to the banks of the Dordogne at ‘La Ferrière’.
