Le Fau, a charming little mountainside village (1000 m) overlooking the Aspre valley. It has just 31 inhabitants for its 19.46km². It mainly welcomes hikers on the GR 400 and local walkers, with its stopover gîte and guest-house, open from April to the end of September. The tranquil setting, with its woods and river, is perfect for walking, fishing, breathing, relaxing and recharging your batteries. Exceptional natural sites: the Puy Chavaroche ridges, Brêche d'Enfloquet, Roche Taillade, Roc des Ombres, the wooded cirques of Bois Noir and Emblaud, the ferruginous spring at La Bastide and the sulphurous spring in the bed of the Chavaspre river not to mention the fossilised trees.
